Welcome!

I’m Leigh Saint-Louis, M.D., board certified in family medicine. Thank you for visiting! As a family doctor, I take care of people of every age: little babies, grown men and women, and older folks. My main job is to protect your health. I believe everyone deserves a personal physician: one who knows you well, who knows what you want, and who knows what your family needs, to be safe, strong, and free.

My office phone number is (toll-free) 866-581-5559. Leave a message, and I’ll call you back. You can also email me through this website. I’m located at 492 E. 13th Ave in Eugene, Oregon (97401), Suite 200, in downtown Eugene.

The building is accessible, with a wheelchair lift, and parking is free. Currently, office hours are:
Monday 9 am – 2 pm
Tuesday 12 pm – 6 pm
Thursday 12 pm – 6 pm
Saturday 9 am – 2 pm
The hours will expand to fit the patients! Ask me about after-hour, off-day, and home-visit appointments.

I have contracts with four insurance companies: Providence, Regence (Blue Cross/Blue Shield), PacificSource, and LifeWise. This means that for customers of these insurance companies, I am “in network” and your insurance may pay for a bigger portion of any visits you make to me. (Out-of-pocket deductibles, copays, and coinsurance still apply, of course, according to the terms of your individual policy.)

I am not credentialed with ODS, OHP, Medicare, Medicaid, or anyone else. For policyholders with those companies, I am “out of network,” and a different set of benefits apply. I’m always happy to see patients with any kind of insurance, or with no insurance at all! Please scroll down the services page to view flexible payment plans.

Other updates: I have not been able to stock vaccines at this time. My best research shows that vaccines for ten children and boosters for a handful of adults would cost $8,000.00 to purchase in bulk (much more in smaller quantities!); like the “free” vaccines provided by the Vaccines For Children program, they require special storage facilities. Although my goal is to offer shots to all my patients, it’s going to be a while before I am able to do so! In the meantime,  the Public Health Department offers low-cost shots to adults and children. I can let you know what shots are recommended on a schedule that works best for your family and you. I hope to obtain special storage and a small supply of shots by the end of fall 2009.
